A dedicated member of the GWWO team, Sharon specializes in the construction document and administrative phases of projects. She has successfully navigated many of GWWO’s largest projects through construction completion, resulting in buildings that reflect the designer’s intent, work for their users, and are delivered with minimal change orders. Design teams often call upon her considerable field experience to review documents and facilitate early identification of potential construction challenges.
Sharon is committed to professional development in architecture, including her current role on the AIA Construction Contract Administration Leadership Group and chair of the AIA Baltimore Practice Management Committee, along with previously serving on the AIA Baltimore Board of Directors and the Design Awards Committee. Sharon holds a Bachelor of Architecture degree from the University of Cincinnati.
Who/what inspires you?
Nature. I love being outdoors finding and taking pictures of various things I come across. From the broad view of landscapes to the macro details of a flower or fungus or insect. How nature adapts, evolves, and responds to ever changing conditions tells an important story.
What is your favorite book or movie?
Spaceballs. I love the parody and humor of this movie. Quotes from the movie are applicable to so many of life’s circumstances! I’ve seen it a bazillion times and still laugh out loud every time.
