Sharon Day Named President of the AIABaltimore Board of Directors

GWWO Associate, Sharon Day, AIA, LEED AP BD+C, has been appointed President of the 2017 AIABaltimore Board of Directors.

AIABaltimore is the third oldest chapter of the American Institute of Architects in the country and has nearly 1,300 members. Their focus is on creating and advocating for quality, sustainable design in the Baltimore metropolitan area in an effort to make it a better place to live, work, and play.

Sharon has been actively involved in the Chapter since 2003, has been a member of the Board since 2012, and has served on the Design Awards and Emerging Professionals committees for many years. She also continues to work with the Emerging Professionals Committee through a mentorship program and volunteers with the Future Architects Resources Committee on career days. At GWWO, Sharon serves as a Construction Administration Specialist where she has worked on a variety of projects with a primary focus on Maryland public schools and higher education facilities.
