This past Saturday, October 18, marked the groundbreaking ceremony and unveiling of our design for the new Sea Gull Stadium at Salisbury University.
The new four-story stadium will be over 30,000-SF and include 4,800 seats, year-round locker room facilities for the university's football, field hockey, men's and women's lacrosse teams, as well as locker rooms for visiting teams and referees. The stadium will also include a retail shop, concession stand, ticket office, athletic training clinic and classroom for game preparation, team meetings and minor stretching, VIP seating areas and a press box. Construction is expected to begin after Christmas and the stadium is planned to open in spring 2016. The new facility is designed to achieve LEED Silver Certification.
