Friday, October 10 marked the grand opening and ribbon cutting ceremony of Towson University in Northeastern Maryland at the Harford Community College campus.
Towson University and Harford Community College have teamed up to provide students a seamless transfer to pursue a four-year bachelor's degree after completing their associate degree across the street at Harford Community College. This is the first four-year program located in northeast Maryland, allowing more students in the area the opportunity to earn a bachelor's degree without having to take an online course or make a long commute. The new 60,000-SF academic building includes state-of-the-art classrooms, labs, offices, and spaces for social and cultural events.
