Work Begins for Berks Conservancy & Occoquan Regional Park

GWWO has been selected to design two new park projects.

The Berks Conservancy in Reading, PA has chosen the firm to design a new 7,500-SF Environmental Exploration Center that will be an addition to a 800-SF building in Angelica Park. The new structure will function as a community meeting place and include classrooms and educational space.

The Northern Virginia Regional Park Authority has also selected us to design a new 15,350-SF waterfront multi-purpose building at Occoquan Regional Park that will serve as a unique and attractive event rental space and feature environmental education displays, a commercial kitchen, park offices, and amenities. A 3,000-SF large group shelter is also part of the scope.

Both projects will feature sustainable and low-impact elements.
