GWWO Principal, Terry Squyres, was recently voted onto the Maryland Food Bank's Board of Directors.
In this role, Terry joins the governing body that oversees the food bank’s operation and ensures the Maryland Food Bank (MFB) fulfills its mission of feeding people, strengthening communities, and ending hunger for more Marylanders.
The Maryland Food Bank is a non-profit organization that is leading the fight to end hunger in Maryland by supplying food to hundreds of food pantries, soup kitchens, shelters, and faith-based organizations throughout Maryland. In addition to meeting the immediate needs of food-insecure Marylanders, MFB simultaneously works to find long-term ways to reduce hunger in the state through outreach programs that provide direct food assistance, support innovative means to end hunger, and educate on the importance of good nutrition.
