Topping Out Ceremony of CCBC's Carol Diane Eustis Center for Health Professions

Topping Out Ceremony of CCBC's Carol Diane Eustis Center for Health Professions

Yesterday marked the topping out ceremony for the last beam of CCBC's new Carol Diane Eustis Center for Health Professions!

The new 127,340-SF facility at the CCBC Essex Campus will create a technology rich space that will bring together the College’s School of Health Professions and health related continuing education programs under one roof. The facility will include multiple specialized career labs, lecture halls, general classrooms, computer labs, tutoring spaces, group study areas, faculty offices, and conference rooms.

A major goal of the project is to create a gateway building for CCBC’s Essex Campus. The building will strive to serve as a focal point for passerby from the street and will offer an opportunity to put a contemporary and exciting face on the Essex Campus and School of Health Professions. Other goals of the building include enhancing campus green spaces by enclosing the west edge of the campus quad for a more formal green area, inviting campus pedestrian traffic by serving as an accessible circulation route from the west parking lots into the quad, and ensuring low energy and carbon footprint. The project is designed to achieve LEED Silver certification.
