Pat Fava has been appointed to the Board of Directors for the Maryland School for the Deaf Foundation.
The Maryland School for the Deaf Foundation (MSDF) was founded in 1987 by the MSD Board of Visitors who had a vision to improve deaf education. The sole purpose of the Foundation is to encourage and provide support to the students at MSD. Through private funding, the Foundation has supported MSD students through the provision of scholarships and awards, leadership initiatives, and enhanced computer technologies and equipment. The Foundation has significantly helped address the growing need for more effective ways to reach students and enhance the education provided at MSD.
Pat is joined by 11 other volunteers who make up this year's Board of Directors and who will work to appropriately manage and allocate private funding to enrich the lives of students at MSD.
