Lyons Mill Elementary School Ribbon Cutting Ceremony

Lyons Mill Elementary School Ribbon Cutting Ceremony

This morning, a ribbon-cutting ceremony was held to formally celebrate the opening of the new Lyons Mill Elementary School in Owings Mills!

The anticipated LEED Silver, 94,500-SF elementary school was designed specifically in order to ease overcrowding in Baltimore County's northwest communities and has a capacity for 700 students. The school is laid out in a series of neighborhoods with colors that correspond to each grade level. The color selections for each neighborhood, including interior and exterior finishes, have provided a sense of identity for students that permeates throughout their learning experience. Congratulations to everyone who worked on the project!
