For the office's fourth annual food drive, Associate Principal John Gregg split the office up into teams with dual challenges related to quantity and design.
This year, each team was tasked with building canned food forts. Some chose to build freeform, while others replicated real forts such as Fort Stanwix. In order to keep the competition fair, Ranger Bill Curtis from the Fort McHenry National Monument & Historic Shrine made a special appearance as guest judge, bringing his knowledge of forts, sense of humor, unbiased judging skills, and souvenirs for the winning team. In the end, the firm collectively donated a total of 2,308 pounds of food to the Maryland Food Bank in Baltimore, surpassing last year's donation by over 500 pounds.
