During the month of February, John Gregg, a senior associate with the firm, challenged GWWO employees to participate in National Canned Food Month by bringing in canned food items.
To add some friendly competition, individual boxes for each of our internal “teams” were set up to see which team could contribute the most canned food items. In typical architecture fashion, a contest to see which team could build the highest “canned structure” commenced at the end of the drive – with the winning team’s design coming in at a towering 71 inches. By the end of the month, GWWO employees were able to donate over 244 pounds of canned food items to the Maryland Food Bank in Baltimore.
