GWWO Selected to Design New Frederick High School

GWWO Selected to Design New Frederick High School

Frederick County Public Schools has selected GWWO for the design of a new Frederick High School in response to the feasibility study that GWWO completed in 2012.

The existing school will be completely demolished and a new 260,000-SF school will be built northwest of the existing building. Design will continue through winter of 2014 with construction anticipated to begin in July 2015. Students will continue their education in the current building, until the new facility is finished. The new building will accommodate 1,600 students and is anticipated to be LEED Silver for Schools Certified.
