In recognition of their accomplishments and expertise, we are delighted to announce the promotions of three members of our team. Each has contributed through their consistent leadership and commitment to elevating the firm’s mission.

Dan Audette has been promoted to Senior Associate. Dan joined the firm in 2012 and was named an Associate in 2019. A longtime advocate for the wise use of technology in the design process, Dan has served as the firm’s Technology-in-Practice Specialist since 2017. Throughout his time with the firm, he has endeavored to keep GWWO at the forefront of technological advancements, successfully leveraging innovation to enhance architectural practice. He is currently leading the firm’s artificial intelligence integration, spearheading the development of AI-powered knowledge engines and custom Large Language Model implementations to synthesize complex project data and leverage the firm’s historical knowledge base. Dan holds a Bachelor degree and Master of Architecture, both from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.

Joseph Bowman has been named an Associate with the firm. Joe joined the firm in 2021 and quickly became an integral part of the firm’s pursuits in educational architecture. His passion for designing K-12 and collegiate facilities enriches his work developing innovative, yet pragmatic solutions that prioritize the student experience. His work on projects such as the new 300,000-SF Lansdowne High School and the renovation of Patapsco High School, both in Baltimore County, Maryland, and major renovations for University of Maryland, College Park have earned him a reputation for professionalism and diligence among clients and his design team colleagues. Joseph graduated from Morgan State University with a Master of Architecture and a Bachelor of Science in Architecture and Environmental Design.

David Ritter has been named a Construction Specialist at GWWO. With the firm since 2017, his experience reflects a strong emphasis on technical coordination, collaboration, and delivering well-executed projects in the field. A licensed architect, Dave brings his design background to all aspects of construction administration. He recently oversaw the construction administration for two new 700+ student elementary schools for Frederick County Public Schools, both of which required complex coordination between multiple consultant and client teams. Dave is an active member of the Construction Specifications Institute Central Pennsylvania Chapter. He is a graduate of Temple University with Bachelor of Architecture and Bachelor of Historic Preservation degrees.
