Flooded with natural light and equipped with advanced technology, the school’s new 21st century learning spaces will equitably serve students across all learning styles, abilities, and post high school goals. Beyond traditional academic, technical, and special education classrooms, the school will feature specialized labs and classrooms for medical pathways, food science, and engineering—reflecting specific regional workforce development needs uncovered during engagement with local employers. The building and site design also provide for previous features of school pride—a hall of nations featuring flags from the more than a dozen nations represented in the student body, a community garden, and memorials on the existing site—to be incorporated into the new construction.
