Yan’s work is informed by a fascination with culture and a desire to explore that results in unique solutions for each process, project, and place.
Yan holds a Master of Architecture and Master of Real Estate Development from the University of Maryland, where he also served as a graduate teaching assistant. His work as a student was recognized with two AIA Maryland Excellence in Design Awards.

A pilot. I find the cockpit of an airplane to be fascinating and complex to understand.
