Grace Amoruso, / GWWO Architects

Grace Amoruso

An advocate for the environment with an eye for graphic design, Grace enjoys sketching and writing to think differently about design. Through learning, listening, and having empathy for existing cultural and historical contexts, she looks to develop understandings that help to inform design decisions.

Grace holds a Bachelor of Science in Architecture from Roger Williams University, ranking first in her class in the School of Architecture. While at Roger Williams, Grace was involved in the American Institute of Architecture Students (AIAS) Mentor Program supporting emerging architecture students.

What ability do you wish you had?
Photographic memory.

As a child, what did you want to be when you grew up?
From spending most of my childhood summers on a sailboat on Long Island Sound, I wanted to become a sailboat builder. Naturally, that love for design and craftsmanship evolved to an interest in architecture at a young age.
