GWWO was saddened to learn that Jim Grieves, FAIA passed away on February 5th. Jim was with our firm from its founding in 1990, the result of a merger between his firm Grieves Associates and Phil Worrall’s Worrall & Associates, through his departure in 1998. His major projects included the new Marine Mammal Pavilion at the National Aquarium in Baltimore, the conversion of the Hackerman Mansion to exhibit space for the Walters Art Gallery, the restoration of Princeton University’s McCarter Theatre, the adaptive reuse of a historic grist mill to house the Brandywine River Museum, and a multi-phased renovation and expansion effort for Wilmington Friends School.
