GWWO is pleased to announce that Collin Mickey is now a licensed architect!
Since joining the firm, Collin has worked on projects in the K-12 and cultural sectors including new Northeast Area Elementary School - Ridge Road Site in Baltimore County, the new Berkshire Elementary School in Baltimore County, the addition and renovation to New Carrollton Branch Library in Prince George’s County, and currently on the rehabilitation of the Historic Sheriff’s House at First State National Historical Park in New Castle, DE. Collin received his Bachelor of Architecture degree from Virginia Tech in 2013 and subsequently launched his career in Seattle where he worked on projects including residential renovations, a K-12 school master plan, commercial offices and biotech labs, and a private commercial air hangar. He also participated in the AIA Seattle Young Architects Forum, was an Associate AIA member of the Seattle chapter, and is now a member of AIA Baltimore. He brings to GWWO his special interest in methodologies of fabrication including both digital and physical space making.
