CCBC Celebrates Virtual Ribbon Cutting of the Carol Diane Eustis Center for Health Professions

The Community College of Baltimore County has celebrated the virtual ribbon cutting of the new Carol Diane Eustis Center for Health Professions, located on the College's Essex campus.

The 127,340-SF building brings all of CCBC's health professions programs under one roof and bolsters CCBC as the largest educator of undergraduate health professions in Maryland. Featuring 57 nursing and allied health programs, the new facility will educate and train the next generation of healthcare leaders and professionals.

Designed in collaboration with Ellenzweig, the technology-rich facility includes 26 state-of-the-art specialized career labs and simulation centers for programs including nursing, respiratory therapy, emergency medical technician, medical lab technician, physicians’ assistant, radiation therapy, radiography, massage therapy, and more, lecture halls, general classrooms, computer labs, tutoring spaces, group study areas, offices, and conference rooms. The project is designed to achieve LEED Silver certification and was ultimately completed on time and on budget in the middle of the COVID-19 pandemic.
