GWWO President & Design Principal Alan Reed has been appointed to the Maryland State Architectural Review Board.
The Board is made up of a group of seven individuals comprised of architects, a landscape architect, and an engineer who were appointed by the Governor, upon recommendation of the Secretary of General Services and with Senate advice and consent, to serve four-year terms.
Founded in 1949, the State Architectural Review Board is responsible for reviewing architectural designs and drawings for the construction of new or renovated State buildings. The Board then makes recommendations on how to make the facilities functional and practical. The Board’s first meeting will be held this month.
